Ed Early Printing has a history in the printing industry dating back to the early 1900's with the founding of 20th Century Printing company by our grandfather Walter
(a printer) and our Great Uncle (a hat salesman). This company grew to over 100 employees over the next 6 decades. Our father Ed Early graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Printing and Graphic design after World War II and joined the company. Later in the 70's my sister Wendy Early joined the company as an estimator and production manager. Michael started his career in the printing business at age 6 going to "work" each Saturday roaming the building while his dad worked. Those years of wandering around led to many summers spent burning negatives and bluelines, running proofs around and every other imaginable job he could get himself involved.
In 1983, 20th Century Printing closed their doors on a Friday and Ed Early Printing opened up the following Monday. Utilizing our knowledge of the industry we formed key alliances with the most competitive manufactures in the area and placed our existing business into their competent hands. We deal directly with the owners of our suppliers and do not deal with or pay a salespersons commission on our jobs, allowing us to pass the savings to our customers.
